Follies is a word connected to communication in many respects. On the British isles follies were built by the wealthy as status symbols which created a dialogue between architecture and landscape, the wealthy and the not so wealthy, history and the present time. The surrealists had a differen approach to the term. Their follies were playful collaboratitons and parties designed to release the control of the conscious mind and let the subconscious take over the creative process.

Our Follies constitute a playful, ongoing project where we explore the dialogue between the different shapes and colours of our individual wall mounted objects. Depending on the shape and size of the wall we have available, new constellations of these abstract shapes are created.
